Chairman of the Parliamentary Legal Committee Muhsin al-Sadoun said near Easter good results on the general amnesty law.
Sadoun said in a press statement, that “there are meetings and discussions with the parliament speaker Salim al-Jubouri, directly, and the Legal continuing discussions throughout these days, there are positive results will be announced on the law in the next week.”
He explained that “the law is linked to the political and security situation in the country, as well as within the framework of national reconciliation, but what is happening today from security breaches in the country requires careful for the issuance of this law, which must be approved in a timely manner that there will be admissibility for approval.”
