    The governor said the owner Saidi said in a statement seen by the news agency of our economy that «oil production capacity to keep within the fields of Ahdab and Badra oilfields will reach 200,000 barrels per day at the end of this year, indicating that the increase will include the production in the dry gas well. 
    He explained that the production capacity of the field Badra oil of 45,000 barrels per day of light-free gas oil (H2S), noting that due to production capacity rises in the field, the end of the current 2016 to 60,000 barrels a day, especially after the launch of two wells oil facilities new 6 and 7 are in the field. 
    He said al-Saidi said the production capacity of the Ahdab oil amounted to 140,000 barrels per day, as well as 60 million cubic meters of dry gas processing and Wasit thermal power station, to be the total production of the province's oil 200,000 barrels per day later this year after it was total production in the two fields through Earlier this year, 185,000 barrels a day, and last July 175,000 barrels per day. 
    He noted that the Chinese Oasis implementing the project Ahdab oil field currently exploit 170 wells out of 404 oil wells ripe for drilling, while Kaz company seeking Russian Gazprom implementing the project Badra oil field to reach 170,000 barrels per day during 2017. 
    And between Saidi said Kaz Brom Russian implementing field Badra oil company floated a tender to drill 13 new oil wells, pointing out that the company told us about it seeks to exploit associated with the process of extraction of crude oil in power generation gas, as will send surplus gas from the need to Wasit thermal power station north of Kut. 
    Governor explained that the field when the arrival of the peak in oil production by 2017 will produce 100 million cubic feet of associated gas, in addition to 600 tons per day of liquid gas and 300 tons per day of sulfur.
