Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi discussed with the Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq, Ghassan Al-Zawawi resolve outstanding issues between Kuwait and Iraq.
According to a statement issued by the Information Office of the Prime Minister received by all of Iraq [where] a copy of Friday, "the Prime Minister received in his office on Thursday night, the Kuwaiti ambassador to Iraq, Ghassan Al-Zawawi," noting that "During the meeting, they discussed relations between the two countries and the situation that in the region and the victories achieved against terrorism and the follow-up to resolve the outstanding issues. "
The statement added that "the Kuwaiti ambassador stressed his country's support for Iraq in its war against terrorism and to continue to assist in the relief and help the displaced programs."
