[ltr]Prices rallied during the week as a whole in the global oil markets to $ 50.35 a barrel.[/ltr]
[ltr]Brent ended the trading session to the nearest maturity, up 64 cents, or about 1.3 percent to settle at 50.35 dollars a barrel.[/ltr]
[ltr]And it stepped up US Brent crude contracts for West Texas Intermediate 66 cents or 1.4% to $ 48.99 at the settlement.[/ltr]
[ltr]The recovery of oil as the dollar fell 0.5% against a basket of major currencies.[/ltr]
[ltr]The market shrugged off a report on the effect that energy companies increased the number of oil rigs in the United States by 11 rigs this week, the biggest gain since December / December last, so that the current number of rigs is still down more than 300 digger for the number that was running a year ago .[/ltr]
