Baghdad/ Iraq TradeLink: Hundreds thousands of Iraqi students were deprived of having their scholastic books this year.

Iraqi education ministry's sources attributed the deprivation was due to the lack in funds to print the books, while educational observers charged the ministry with "corruption".

According to market observations, the ministry's books are sold in the black market with higher prices, or being copied, while they were should be distributed free of charge.
