    Arab and international Monday July 3, 2017

    Decided on behalf of the Supreme State Security in Egypt, the imprisonment of Ola, the daughter of Sheikh Yusuf al-Qaradawi, president of the World Federation of Muslim Scholars, and her husband Hossam Khalaf, leader of the Center Party (shows) 15 days, to continue investigations into the accused to "join the Muslim Brotherhood," according to the accused lawyer and a judicial source.

    Ahmed Abul-Ela Madi, a lawyer for the defendants on Monday that the "Supreme State Security Prosecution (competent to hear cases of terrorism) decided today imprisoned Hossam Khalaf, the leading party center, and his wife Ola, 15 days pending investigations conducted by them on charges of belonging to the Muslim Brotherhood ".

    The past, that "the security forces had arrested behind his wife, on Friday night from their home in the northern coast (the far north of Egypt), where they spend the Eid al-Fitr holiday."

    He explained that "it is scheduled to be completed by the prosecution of its investigations with them Monday."

    For his part, a judicial source said that "the Supreme State Security Prosecution sent to the defendants Monday charged with belonging to a group based on other than the law and the Constitution (mean the Brotherhood), and planning to carry out terrorist operations targeting security and state institutions."

    The source added that this "case includes the leaders of the Brotherhood, led by Mohamed Abdel-Rahman Mursi, a member of the Guidance Bureau (the highest executive body of the group)."

    An Egyptian court in March / March 2016, decided to release Hossam Khalaf, among the leaders of Islamic opposition, was tried in the media known as "the legitimate support of the Alliance" issue, on charges including "spreading false news."
