Economy News _ Baghdad Iranian Ambassador Irak Masjidhi and Iraqi Oil Minister Abdulkarim al-Liibi confirmed on Thursday the implementation of oil transactions between the two countries and the understandings reached during the last meeting in Tehran. During the meeting, the two sides called on Iran to speed up the flow of oil from Basra to Abadan to benefit directly from Iran's technical capabilities in the production of oil derivatives. The Iranian ambassador raised the issue of providing the appropriate ground to take advantage of the potential of Iranian companies in the implementation of oil projects and the activation of joint oil fields, which is fortunate for the Iraqi side to be welcomed. For his part, the Minister of Oil announced the readiness of the ministry to step up cooperation and benefit from the technical and engineering services of Iranian companies.
