    [ltr]The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights announced on Tuesday that the US-backed democratic forces of Syria have regained the city of Al-Raqqa completely from the organization of the Islamic state.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The Syrian Democratic forces, with the support of the international coalition, managed to take control of the municipal stadium after they stormed and combed most of it," the observatory said.[/ltr]
    [ltr]The troops, made up of Kurdish and Arab factions backed by Washington, announced their control of the city's most recent stronghold of al-Raqqa after they seized control of the national hospital in the city center.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"The National Hospital has been liberated and cleared of mercenaries," the Syrian Democratic Forces said in a statement on its website.[/ltr]
    [ltr]For his part, spokesman for the Syrian Democratic Forces, Talal Sallou, told "Sky News Arabia" that the military operations in Raqqa against Daqash is still ongoing.[/ltr]
    [ltr]He added that there are still areas under the combing in the city of Raqqa, while some of the clashes in some areas of the city.[/ltr]
    [ltr]Syria's democratic forces, backed by the US-led coalition since June, have been battling fierce battles in the city of Raqqa, Syria's most prominent stronghold.[/ltr]
    [ltr]About 3,000 civilians, as well as dozens of local fighters, have stepped out of the city's radical organization in recent days under an agreement brokered by clan elders.[/ltr]
    [ltr]"Syria's democratic forces are now fighting the strongest," said Jihan Sheikh Ahmed, a spokeswoman for the "Euphrates" campaign, whose goal is "to end a provocative presence, which in itself means either death or surrender, that is, eliminating it."[/ltr]
