    The Ministry of Education has revealed that it has coordinated with governmental and international agencies to re-activate the school feeding project for primary school students throughout Iraq. While the project may contribute to reducing dropout rates, the Baghdad Provincial Council considered government schools in the governorate unfit for health and chasing children. . 
    "The school feeding project includes a food basket containing biscuits, a small milk biscuit, and one fruit fruit to be distributed to students in schools and in all governorates," said Health and Nutrition Director Kazem Mohsen. 
    Mohsen explained that "this program was hoped to be implemented in 2013 in coordination with the World Food Organization and hand over $ 17 million, but the organization did not fulfill its duties, which led the Ministry to form a committee to restore the said amount."
    Mohsen said that "there are 5 million children in schools in the central and southern governorates are waiting for the school feeding project, but the lack of financial allocations behind the non-application." 
    For her part, the head of the committee of civil society organizations in the Baghdad Provincial Council, Mahdya Lami said in an interview for "range" that "most schools in the province of Baghdad are unhealthy schools and chasing students," noting that "the existence of coordination with several government agencies and local organizations to implement the program School Health in Baghdad ".

    Al-Lami added that "the school health program exists, but the program has not been implemented in the schools of the province."
