The Israeli occupation forces have used a new type of gas during the recent clashes between Palestinian youths in the West Bank, Jerusalem and Gaza, Palestinian media reported.
"The Israeli occupation soldiers are using an unknown gas that causes severe suffocation and fainting," Ma'an News Agency quoted Palestinian Health Ministry spokesman Osama al-Najjar as saying.
He added that "some of the injuries that came to hospitals from inhalation of this gas, the owners suffered from exhaustion, headaches, nerve strain, heartburn and pain in the bones and knee."
