    Venezuela remained at the top of the 2018 "economic misery" list, while Egypt and Saudi Arabia were among the top 10 in the Bloomberg index for the most miserable economies of the year.
    The "economic misery" index, which includes 66 countries, is based on two basic criteria: inflation and unemployment, which largely determine how citizens feel about the quality of economic life.
    The index showed that rising prices pose a more serious threat to the global economy than unemployment this year.
    Venezuela ranked first in the list for the second year in a row, with the country's "misery" expected to rise to 1872 points. South Africa ranked second with 33.1 points, followed by Argentina with 27.1 points, Third for the second year.
