On Wednesday, the parliamentary finance committee suggested that the salaries of employees be suspended this month, with Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi and the Ministry of Finance responsible for the continuation of the deduction.
The committee's decision, MP Ahmad Hama Rashid, said in a statement to the "Information" / that "the continued deduction of salaries of employees is a violation of the constitutional will be held accountable by law," pointing out that "deductions should have stopped since January 1, 2018."
