The Center for Iranian Diplomatic Studies has attacked the position of Iraqi Prime Minister Haider al-Abadi, who expressed Iraq's commitment to US sanctions against Iran.
In an article published by the Iranian Diplomatic Studies Center, close to the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Saber al-Anbar criticized the Iraqi people and described them as the owners of Hussein bin Ali when they left him alone in the battle of Karbala. According to him.
Anbari said: observers are asking these two questions, why did Abbadi take such a position? Why did the Sadrist movement take a different position from Abadi, contrary to the popular idea of the current position on Iran? International politics sometimes impose its conditions on Iran's allies and make them take decisions that run counter to Tehran's expectations. This has already happened with Hamas. In reference to the position of Hamas in support of the Syrian revolution.
"After the invasion of Iraq in 2003, there were no political developments in the Iraqi arena according to the American vision," he said. "Iran is the most influential foreign player in Iraq, but there are still significant challenges for Iran. This influence has an impact on the political decision at the level In Iraq, because Iraq still includes eight military bases and 5000 US military, and this force makes Washington the most influential on the policies of the internal and external Iraq.
Abadi and the Iraqi people have been fiercely attacked. "Abadi's position is surprising," he said, stressing that Iraq was committed to US sanctions against Iran but opposed any sanctions against Iran. This reminds us of the attitude of the people of Kufa in Iraq towards Imam Husayn ibn Ali, when they said: "Our hearts with you and our swords on you."
On Ebadi's objectives of taking a position contrary to Iranian interests, he said: Abadi may want to present himself as an independent person who makes his decisions based on the national interests of Iraq, and does not sacrifice the interests of Iraq for Iran, but this is not his overall motive, if we want to look at Abadi's position in the context of developments related to the formation of the government, it can be assumed that Abadi by taking this position wants to send signals to the Americans; to support him in the post of prime minister again, and may see Abbadi that the role of Washington in the formation of the future Iraqi government seems stronger than the role of Iran.
He threatened to remove Abadi from the political arena in Iraq, saying: It seems that Abbadi believes that his political future depends on playing the Iranian paper, but will determine the coming days and weeks whether the game will succeed Abadi or not? Can Iran remove Abadi from the circle of power in Iraq or not?
On the position of the Sadrist movement, which rejects the position of Abadi, said the Iranian Center: It must be said that the position of the Sadrist movement stems mainly from the policy of the current anti-American, and not support for Iran, and this does not mean that the current situation changes the role of Iran in Iraq, Iraq, however, Sadrists is not sure to be their position as the current situation, which confirms that Sadr spoke against US sanctions did not question the position of Abbadi.
The Iranian writer in his article published on the website of the Diplomatic Center that Iran could be replaced by its first ally, the Dawa Party, the Sadrists in Iraq, saying: Given the escalating tensions between the United States and Iran, it seems that despite the differences between the Sadrists and Tehran, The same anti-American policy can bring the parties closer in the future, and Iran is moving from supporting the Dawa Party to supporting the Sadrists, becoming its first ally in Iraq.
