Al-Rafidain publishes the instructions for the loans of students, professors and postgraduate studies

The Rafidain Bank on Wednesday announced instructions to grant students, professors and researchers in postgraduate studies in Iraqi government universities and civil universities affiliated to the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research a soft loan to cover the cost of research according to special instructions.
"The amount of the loan is five million and will be two years, and the installments will be paid monthly with the interest set after one month from the date of the grants," the bank said in a statement received by Al Maaloumah.
The bank stipulated that "the sponsor of a civil servant from the employees of the government departments should not exceed the deduction rate (50%) of his total salary, and that there is no guarantee for the third party and the submission of the documents authenticated by the student of the loan proving that he holds postgraduate studies in universities and is validated by the bank "He said.
The bank also stipulated that it be "a letter of support from the relevant party in support of the applicant for the loan at the stage of preparation of the research and that it continues on its official term and with the signature of the Dean or his representative and a letter of support issued by the sponsor's department in which he supports the permanent owner as well as the amount of salary and service is supported The validity of the issuance of the two paragraphs above from the official bodies issued by them.
He added that "the identity documents of the borrower and the sponsor (the identity of the civil status and the certificate of nationality or the unified card in addition to the housing card)," referring to "the adoption of the university to which the student belongs and close to the branches of Rafidain Bank as a criterion in determining the geographical area when granting the loan and the payment of installments due after grants "He said.
