Minister of Finance and Minister of State for Economic Affairs, Maryam Al-Aqil, today, reviewed Kuwait's budget for 2020-2021.
Al-Aqeel said in a press conference, "The oil revenues will constitute 87.3% of the 2020-2021 budget, based on the price of $ 55 a barrel, confirming the government's keenness to maintain the ceiling of spending at 22.5 billion for the second year in a row."
She added, "The estimated revenue reached 14.8 One billion dinars in the new budget, adding that the expected expenses are 22.5 billion dinars, and the deficit is 9.2 billion dinars in the 2020-2021 budget.
