Kuwait Budget 2020-2021: The deficit increased to 9.2 billion dinars, an increase of 11% over last year

The Kuwaiti Ministry of Finance announced that the expected deficit in the budget for the fiscal year 2020-2021 is estimated at 9.2 billion dinars, an increase of 11% over last year.
Total expenses are estimated at about 22.5 billion dinars, based on an average price of a barrel of oil of $ 55.
According to the ministry, the expected revenues in the 2020-2021 budget decreased by 6% to about 14.8 billion dinars, of which 12.9 billion dinars are oil revenues and 1.87 billion dinars are non-oil revenues.
