The ministry said in its statistics published on its official website and seen by Alsumaria News, a copy of it, that "the associated gas production by oil companies in all of Iraq for the month of January amounted to 2875 mqqm per day", indicating that "Al-Muharraq reached 1594 mqqam per day."
The ministry added that "the production of the accompanying North and Central Oil Company amounted to 369 suppressed per day, and the burnt amounted to 112 suppressed per day, indicating that the production of Basra oil, Dhi Qar oil and Maysan oil reached 2506 supplements per day and the burned 1482 supplements per day."
The statistics showed that "dry gas production reached 1165 mqqm daily, while liquid gas production reached 5200 tons per day."
According to preliminary estimates of the Ministry of Oil that Iraq has an estimated reserve of 132 trillion cubic feet of gas, as about 70% of Iraqi gas is gas associated with oil extraction for processing, and Iraq is ranked eleventh among the countries rich in natural gas after Russia, Iran and Qatar. Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates, America, Nigeria, Venezuela and Algeria.
