Oil reveals the amount of associated gas production during January

{Economic: Al Furat News} The Ministry of Oil revealed, today, Sunday, the associated gas production during the month of January, indicating that it reached 2580 residents per day.

The ministry stated in a statistic published on its official website that "the associated gas production by oil companies throughout Iraq for the month of January last reached 2580 mqmqs per day," indicating that "the burned amount reached 1,288 diggers per day."
The ministry added that "the production of the North and Central Oil Company of associated gas amounted to 336 barrels per day and the incinerated amount of it amounted to 98 barrels per day, while the associated gas production from Basra, Dhi Qar and Maysan oil reached 2,244 maft per day and burned 1,190 maft per day."
The ministry indicated that "Iraq's production of dry gas reached 1225 mugglers per day, while the production of liquid gas reached 5826 tons per day."
Initial estimates of the Ministry of Oil indicate that Iraq possesses reserves estimated at 132 trillion cubic feet of gas, as about 70% of Iraqi gas is associated with the extraction of oil for processing, and Iraq is ranked eleventh among the countries in the world rich in natural gas.
