President of the Republic Barham Salih congratulated, on Wednesday, the sons of the Yazidi religion in [You must be registered and logged in to see this link.] and the world on the occasion of the New Year, calling for speeding up the approval of the Yezidi survivors law presented by the Presidency of the Republic to the House of Representatives.
Saleh said in a statement that he received the "information", a copy of it, "It is my pleasure to congratulate the people of the Yazidi religion in the homeland and the Diaspora on the occasion of the coming of the new Yezidi year, wishing them a happy year full of security, peace and stability."
