Before approving the 2021 budget ... the government begins preparing another budget

{Economist: Al Furat News} A member of the Parliamentary Finance Committee revealed that the government had begun preparing the fiscal budget for 2022.

Committee member Jamal Cougar said in a press statement, "The federal government headed by Mustafa Al-Kazemi is charged with preparing the 2022 budget, and a committee has now been formed to prepare the budget bill for the next year."
He added, "In the event that early elections are held on 10/10/2021, we need 45 days to validate their results and assign the largest bloc, and this may take two months and a new parliament and government will come, and this means delaying the 2022 budget."
Cougar stressed that "this government is tasked with preparing the 2022 budget, and if the elections were held on time, it has played its role, and if the elections did not take place, it is the authority of the current government to prepare the budget for next year."
It is noteworthy that the House of Representatives has failed more than once to approve the 2021 budget, and it is hoped that it will vote at the scheduled session today to approve it.
