Minister of Electricity Majed Mahdi Hantoush, today, Thursday, expressed his optimism that the Iranian side would respond by releasing the required quantities of gas to Iraq.
According to official media, Hantoush said, "The upcoming visit that we will conduct to Iran, through which we hope to achieve the planned supply of the required quantities of gas for all electrical stations."
He added that "there will be an improvement in the supply of energy, and the Ministry of Electricity is supported by Prime Minister Mustafa Al-Kazemi."
He pointed out that "all ministries support the efforts of the Ministry of Electricity and under the guidance of the Prime Minister's Office."
He pointed out that "energy rationalization will allow supply 24 hours a day despite the need for Iraq to 28 thousand megawatts, indicating that it is not possible in a few months to address a problem that has accumulated for years." Ended 29 / h
