The governor of Sulaymaniyah, Hual Abu Bakr, announced, on Tuesday, the launch of the Hamadan-Sanandaj railway line, in the hope of linking it to Sulaymaniyah in order to accelerate the transport of goods between Iran and the Kurdistan region of Iraq .
Abu Bakr said in a speech delivered during a forum to define investment opportunities in the "Banah" special economic zone in Iran, "The projects that are being implemented in the city of Banh today are a continuation of the work that was done on the borders of Bashmaq and Pervez Khan." Trade through the border crossings despite all the problems, including the spread of the Corona virus .
Abu Bakr announced the "launch of the Hamadan-Sanandaj railway line in the hope of connecting it to Sulaymaniyah in order to speed up the transport of goods," calling on all investors in the Kurdistan region to invest in all the western provinces of the country, especially the Kurdistan region .
The government of Mustafa Al-Kazemi had granted approval for the construction of a railway line between Iraq and Iran in the south of the country, which led to resentment of a number of specialists, because it would affect the large port of Faw.
