{Economist: Al Furat News} The economic expert, Abdul Rahman Al-Mashhadani, confirmed that 15% of the sales of the Central Bank go to money laundering and private banks.

Al-Mashhadani explained to the program "Al-Mastra", broadcast by Al-Furat satellite channel, tonight, "What is presented in the media is unreal numbers regarding oil prices, and Iraq is committed to the OPEC Plus agreement, and we are still in the second phase, and our specific exports are two million and 900 thousand barrels of oil," expecting "a surplus of oil this month." .
He added, "The exchange rate has greatly affected the local market, and the rise in it has reached more than 50%, and the reason is that Iraq imported 80% of materials and goods from abroad," noting that "the dinar exchange rate is restricted and not floating, as is the case in other countries."
Al-Mashhadani continued, "15% of the Central Bank's sales go to money laundering operations, and private banks make profits by presenting forged import receipts, and the Central Bank has not taken any action against that.
Travelers for medical treatment were surprised by taxes on transferring sums of money in their names."
