    Deputy//Secretary Hadi Abbas, the Central Bank to tighten its oversight
    on the functioning of community banks, to reduce corruption and money
    laundering.


    He said Abbas
    (News Agency news) on Thursday that some civil banks lost their audience
    as a result of non-compliance with regulations and the decisions of the
    Central Bank, adding that central responsibility for abandoning control
    of functioning of private banks.


    He added that the Central Bank is required
    to tighten its oversight of the banking control law, and its commitment
    to restore the confidence of depositors, noting that Warka Bank is one
    of the large banks and the loss of his audience because he disagrees to
    Central Bank actions and decisions, what led him to bankruptcy.



    Iraq reportedly has seven state-owned
    banks and private banks, eight Islamic banks, according to a Central
    Bank, as the banking sector is dominated by the Rafidain and Rashid
    banks and Government are currently restructuring in order to repay debt
    accumulated after years of war and sanctions./finished/8 n. p.

    There is so much Dinar out there now, I'm not sure how they can stop laundering.
