    {Economic: Al Furat News} The Center for Market Research and Consumer Protection identified the causes of the housing crisis and the rise in real estate prices and the radical solutions to it.
    Yahya Kamal al-Bayati, director of the center {the only official research institution in Iraq that deals with the study of market and consumer issues}, said: "The real estate market has recently been subjected to a recovery due to the provision of housing loans to citizens, which vary in amounts, sometimes reaching 100 million dinars."
    He added, "The citizen was supposed to buy the land at a price of (80-90) million dinars, but he must pay 120 million dinars as a down payment, which creates a real problem."
    Al-Bayati pointed out, "Real estate prices are out of control due to the lack of control and the lack of government housing complexes," noting that the private sector helped in dissolving the oversight and the supply crisis, when the housing crisis and the housing crisis.
    Concerning the flight of capital and the purchase of housing units outside the country, Al-Bayati affirmed that “purchasing real estate in neighboring countries is a legitimate right of the citizen and all countries facilitate this process.
    Regarding solutions for low-income people, Al-Bayati pointed out that "there are radical solutions represented in building residential cities, not residential complexes, because the latter is when building strategic, remote, needy infrastructure."
    He added, "If the project is to build an entire residential city, it is like the Basmaya project, then it is the best project to solve the housing problem, and the residential city must be distributed according to societal groups such as doctors, teachers, and teachers, and in this way we maintain the advancement of society."
