Shafaq News/ Cash purchase sales of the dollar decreased today, Thursday, while remittances increased in the Central Bank auction.
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, the Central Bank witnessed a decrease in its dollar sales by 6.28% to reach 194 million and 390 thousand and 287 US dollars, which were covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to yesterday, Wednesday. , whose sales amounted to 207 million and 728 US dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that most of the bank's sales went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits, which amounted to 168 million and 800 thousand and 287 dollars, while the remaining amount of 25 million and 590 thousand dollars went in cash.
Our correspondent indicated that 29 banks have met requests to enhance balances abroad, 9 banks to meet cash requests, in addition to 127 mediation companies.
