Iraq concludes the year 2021 with a rise in its cash sales from the dollar
Shafaq News/ Cash sales of the dollar rose in the Central Bank auction today, Wednesday, to reach more than 63 million dollars.
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated that today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, the Central Bank witnessed a decrease in its dollar sales by 1.98% to reach 198 million, 355 thousand and 886 US dollars, which the bank covered at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar, compared to On Tuesday, sales amounted to 202 million, 629 thousand and 408 US dollars.
Our correspondent added that the bank's cash sales of dollars rose today to 63 million and 810 thousand dollars compared to the previous day, in which cash sales amounted to 47 million dollars, while the rest of 134 million, 545 thousand and 886 dollars went to enhance balances abroad in the form of remittances and credits. .
Our correspondent indicated that 22 banks have responded to requests to enhance balances abroad, 16 banks to meet cash requests, in addition to 258 mediation companies.
