Washington is considering expanding its operations against "Daash" to include areas around Baghdad

Administration announced Friday that it is currently studying the possibility of expanding the scope of its military operations against al "Daash" terrorist to include areas surrounding the capital Baghdad.
The deputy national security adviser Ben Rhodes in a press statement that "the current military operations centered around the Kurdish capital Arbil, because of the progress made by Daash during the past few days," noting that "we have a diplomatic presence is very large in Baghdad, and if we saw militia organization advancing towards her will we meet them. "
Rhodes added that "the United States' mission in Iraq is currently limited to the protection of American citizens, and to provide humanitarian assistance to the thousands of civilians trapped on the mountain chain of Sinjar, northwest Iraq after fleeing Daash."

The Army Chief of Staff Gen. Babacar Zebari predicted, earlier today, Friday (8 August 2014), that Iraq is witnessing significant changes in the coming hours, as he emphasized that American planes began multiplying organizing "Daash" in the south of drunken parties and Sinjar.
