    Earth News/ Legal expert Salem Hawass identified, today, Saturday, the party benefiting from the crisis of choosing the President of the Republic and the delay in forming the new government.
    In a statement received by Earth News, Hawass said, "The first part of the text of Article 56 of the Constitution stipulates that the duration of the electoral cycle of the House of Representatives is four calendar years, beginning with its first session, and ending at the end of the fourth year."
    Hawass added, "The demands of the angry masses have not achieved any legal, constitutional or realistic effect. On the contrary, the constitution has been violated and the law has been neglected by violating the ceilings and time limits for electing the three presidencies to no avail," noting that "the origin of the constitution is flawed." Where he did not address the case of overtaking him in terms of legal periods and others, and he did not put a legal text as a consequence of this transgression.”
    And the legal expert indicated that “the decision of the Federal Court to continue the current president with his duties until the election of the new president is nothing but a kind of filling the constitutional void and the shortage in constitutional texts, in addition to that ruling on the constitutionality of the first session of the House of Representatives and the plaintiffs’ claim in the case No. 5 and its unified 6/ Federation 2022 on 1/25/2022.”
    Hawass continued, "We are at the gates of the real constitutional date in the fourth month, and the election of the other presidencies (the president of the republic and assigning the candidate of the most numerous parliamentary bloc to elect the prime minister) has not yet taken place," noting that "the only affected is the Iraqi people and the beneficiary is the caretaker government and the cabinet." .
    The House of Representatives was scheduled to hold its fourth session at 11 am this morning, whose agenda includes the election of a President of the Republic.
