Shafaq News/ The central bank's cash sales of the dollar rose in an auction today, Tuesday, to reach more than 50 million dollars.
Shafak News Agency correspondent stated, "The sales of the Central Bank today, during its auction for buying and selling US dollars, amounted to 190 million and 458 thousand and 871 US dollars, which were covered by the bank at a base exchange rate of 1460 dinars per dollar.
Our correspondent added that cash sales rose today to reach 51 million and 150 thousand dollars, while foreign remittances during today's auction amounted to 139 million and 308 thousand and 871 dollars.
Our correspondent indicated that 29 banks have fulfilled requests to enhance balances abroad, and 23 banks have responded to cash requests, in addition to 270 mediation companies.
