Today, Saturday, the "Canon Sunrise" bloc issued a statement regarding the decision of the Speaker of Parliament, Muhammad al-Halbousi, to prevent Representative Basem Khashan from interfering in parliament and membership in parliamentary committees.

And she continued: "We call on the presidency of the Council to deal with the position in terms of parliamentary principles and traditions, as the Speaker of Parliament is (the first among equals) and is charged with organizational tasks that do not entitle him to abuse and deprive the people's representatives from performing their duty and violating their constitutional rights; with a strong emphasis on respecting the constitutional and legal contexts for all under the roof of the constitution and the rule of law.
