Today, Thursday, Oil Minister Ihsan Abdul-Jabbar Ismail announced the start of the trial operation of the Holy Karbala refinery.
The Minister of Oil said in a speech during the ceremony of operating the Holy Karbala refinery, that "the Holy Karbala refinery project is the largest since forty years ago," noting that "the project started its experimental operation."
He added, "The project will produce nine million liters of gasoline (high-octane gasoline)," noting that "the project will help save public money."
The minister pointed out that "investment in profitable projects is the best thing for the national economy," explaining that "the ministry has been keen since the past to make this project a success."
