Shafaq News/ The Prime Minister, Muhammad Shia'a Al-Sudani confirmed, on Saturday, that his government is focusing on the unemployment file and will launch an initiative to embrace young people and change the wrong paths that took hold in the previous stages.
Al-Sudani's media office stated, in a statement received by Shafaq News agency, that the Prime Minister said, during his meeting with a group of activists, representatives of civil society organizations and a number of talented children in Diwaniyah Governorate, that "Diwaniyah Governorate deserves to be given a lot in order to change its service reality."
He stressed that the government, in light of its ministerial platform, is focusing on the file of unemployment and youth employment, and is about to launch an initiative to embrace young people and change the wrong paths that took hold in the previous stages.
With regard to developing job performance and improving the provision of required services, Al-Sudani affirmed that the government will adopt clear mechanisms to evaluate officials in several respects, at the level of management, integrity and ability to perform duties.
He referred to the efforts of civil society organizations in social development and state support, and the importance of partnership between government institutions and civil society organizations in addressing many societal phenomena and problems, calling for the coordination of joint efforts for the citizen and community service.
