Today, Tuesday, the Ministry of Finance announced the release of the salaries of civilian and military retirees for the month of January.
The ministry's media office stated, in a statement received by (Baghdad Today), that "the accounting department in the Ministry of Finance has begun to launch funding for the salaries of civil and military retirees."
She added, "The ministry emphasizes the management of the Rafidain and Rashid banks and the National Retirement Authority to expedite the completion of procedures for paying the salaries of civil and military retirees through electronic payment cards."
According to the statement, the ministry called on "all civil and military retirees, who will receive text messages, to review bank branches and automatic exchange outlets in Baghdad and the provinces to receive their salaries."
