     Today, Sunday, economic expert Nabil Al-Marsoumi revealed that the launch of cash quotas for banks and exchange offices will be through the electronic platform in the Central Bank of Iraq. 
    Al-Marsoumi said in a post on social media, followed by (Baghdad Today), that "it is expected that the cash quotas for banks and exchange clerk will be released through the electronic platform in the Central Bank of Iraq only."
    He explained, "This means stopping cash sales directly," adding that "based on the platform's disclosure, ten thousand dollars will be sold to a person."
    "It is also expected that the Central Bank will press to prevent the financing of cash transfers through exchange offices," he added. 
    Since November 2022, the exchange rate of the US dollar against the Iraqi dinar has witnessed a gradual increase, reaching its highest levels in recent days, as it crossed the barrier of 165,000 dinars per 100 dollars.
