    Baghdad / Obelisk Al-Hadath: The head of the National State Forces Alliance, Ammar al-Hakim, met with the Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia, Muhammad bin Salman, and the Prime Minister in the Kingdom.
    A statement from his office stated that Al-Hakim met bin Salman “on a Ramadan visit to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and they exchanged congratulations on the blessed month of Ramadan and the approaching Eid Al-Fitr, wishing the two countries and the two brotherly peoples, Iraq and Saudi Arabia, more brilliance, prosperity, security and safety.”
    The statement added that the two sides "exchanged views on developments in the political scene in Iraq and the region, and the inter-relations between Baghdad and Riyadh."
    During the meeting, Mr. Al-Hakim expressed his support for any step that contributes to stopping violence and fighting in brotherly Yemen and restoring this pivotal country to its Arab and regional role and status. He also expressed his happiness for the ongoing practical steps to restore Syria and occupy its seat in the next Arab summit.
    Al-Hakim stressed that "diplomatic developments between Riyadh and Tehran will reflect positively on the entire region," appreciating "the language of moderation and understanding that prevails among the parties in the region to reach a unified vision for managing relations."
    He also expressed his "concern about the unfortunate developments in Sudan, and we hoped to address the crisis in this brotherly Arab country through dialogue and understanding between the parties to the conflict."
    And Al-Hakim indicated that “Iraq is achieving achievements at the political, social, security and service levels, and this is due to the existence of the state administration coalition that supports the government, and the return of the social fabric to its normal state after defeating terrorism and its loss of its social incubators, just as oil prices played in the presence of a relative financial abundance that enables the government to provide services and job creation.
    He also stressed "the importance of cooperation in common challenges, especially in the climate file and its changes, and we called for more cooperation in the research and scientific field and applied steps in this field."
