Deputy Speaker of Parliament, Shakhwan Abdullah, chaired a session to discuss the amendment of the Mukhtars Law No. (13) of 2011.
And the media office of Parliament stated that “Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, Shakhwan Abdullah, met with a delegation from the Mukhtars of Iraq from various provinces, to discuss the amendment of the Mukhtars’ Law No. (13) for the year 2011.”
And he indicated that "the meeting will discuss ways to develop the work of the elected to carry out their role and responsibilities, and continue cooperation with state institutions to ensure stability in the country."
