    [rtl]Baghdad-Iraq today:

    The Central Bank announced an increase in its hard currency reserves to more than $111 billion.[/rtl]
    [rtl]According to a schedule issued by the bank, “Iraq’s hard currency reserves increased during May of this year 2023 to reach 111 billion and 765 million dollars, an increase of 45.14% compared to the same period last year 2022, which amounted to Iraq’s hard currency reserves of 77,003.” One billion dollars, an increase of 79.97% over the same period in 2021, when the reserves amounted to 62.101 billion dollars.[/rtl]
    [rtl]The table indicates that “Iraq’s reserves of gold also increased, reaching 132.7 tons during last May, thus ranking the 30th in the world with the largest gold reserves, compared to the same period in the year 2022, which amounted to 96.4 tons, and also the same amount for the year 2021, which it occupied.” Iraq ranked 38th in the world.[/rtl]
