The Ministry of Interior is making preparations and procedures to hand over the entire security file throughout the country and in all governorates. Specialists in security affairs have expressed their optimism and support for this long-awaited transformation, stressing that handing over the security file by the Interior is a functional and constitutional entitlement for the ministry, and that it is capable of Maintaining the file in the governorates with high professionalism and craftsmanship.
The official spokesman for the Ministry of Interior, Major General Khaled Al-Muhanna, said in an interview with “Al-Sabah”: “The Ministry of Interior is able to assume security responsibility in all governorates, especially during the prominent role played by the Ministry’s members and governorate police leaders to secure the roads during the fortieth visit.”
He noted that “the results and successes reached by the Ministry of Interior’s employees, which we saw on the ground during the visit to Holy Karbala, are supported by a high level of discipline and moral commitment to duty, and were preceded by major measures, including those related to job rotation, choosing competent security leaders, and building intelligence cells in all governorates.” And merging some formations, retraining, arming and equipping them.
