    The Russian Ministry of Defense revealed that the Pentagon had set the mission of “biological espionage” on the lands of Iraq, Afghanistan, which is close to China, Turkey, Pakistan, and Saudi Arabia as its goal.
    The Commander of the Radiological, Chemical and Biological Defense Forces of the Russian Armed Forces, General Igor Kirillov, said during a press conference this morning: “We have materials confirming that the American military administration was charged with monitoring the biological situation in the territories of Iraq and Afghanistan bordering China, Turkey, Pakistan and Saudi Arabia.”
     Kirillov noted that one of the Pentagon's tasks is the so-called "biological espionage", analyzing the epidemiological situation along the borders of geopolitical opponents and in the areas proposed for the deployment of military units.
    According to him, the documents available at the Russian Ministry of Defense confirm the need to attract employees of organizations contracting with the Pentagon to leadership positions, and field work was supposed to be entrusted to local specialists who would be able to interact with the necessary ministries.
    Kirillov continued: "However, at the same time, it is recommended to limit traces that reveal the connection to the contractor, and to make short trips to Afghanistan and Iraq from the office in Dubai only when necessary."
    According to him, in order to avoid accusations against the Pentagon, some projects were carried out under the cover of the US State Department.
