Specialized economic circles welcomed the implementation of smart housing projects in Iraq, and considered this an important step on the path to catching up with global developments in the field of housing, and changing construction patterns in line with global developments and climate changes that are now occupying all parts of the globe.
Member of the Baghdad Economic Forum, Jassem Al-Aradi, described the implementation of these projects as an important step that adds a new style to the reality of modern life in the country, as the reality of the situation in which the world is experiencing requires the development of performance patterns in the various regions of the country.
He pointed out that the presence of local companies implementing this type of projects in the housing sector represents an important step, pointing out that this matter has major social benefits, the most important of which is making the capital cycle implemented within a local framework, as this approach expands the circle of benefit from the same monetary mass that was created. Employing it in this direction.
He pointed out that Iraq is in dire need of expanding local housing projects with the growing need for new housing units, especially since Iraq now needs approximately 4 million housing units, and from here we must proceed to develop plans that expand the establishment of advanced housing projects.
The smart home project means using some smart technologies to simplify the home, making it livelier and warmer, which reduces the need for wires, especially since smart home technology that controls the lighting and heating of your home can make your life more comfortable, as it allows you to turn on the lights and heat your home remotely. Economic affairs specialist Ahmed Mamoul Al-Nisani said: Benefiting from the development of the reality of constructing housing units around the world is inevitable, and the private sector is seeking to develop new construction methods and begin implementing smart housing projects that allow the citizen to control his housing unit via smart devices, which is an important step. And safer.
Al-Nisani pointed out that the local effort is now interacting with smart housing implementation technologies and adopting all stages of implementing these projects, and this is due to the national expertise that can adopt the best construction methods witnessed in the developed world, which provide a modern life for those who desire such units.
In turn, economic expert Adel Al-Hindawi stressed that developing the mechanisms of housing projects represents an inevitable step at this time during which we are witnessing the implementation of housing projects in various cities of Iraq, and in the city of Baghdad in particular, and here we must have a real transition from traditional housing, which has become no longer necessary. It is compatible with the reality of life and climate changes.
He stated that the presence of smart housing projects in Iraq represents an important step on the path to transitioning life to new, more advanced patterns, pointing out the necessity of working to develop the reality of designing new projects and moving away from the traditional designs that have been approved for decades in the country, as the reality of designs in the world has witnessed a very great development. This requires us to adopt the foundations of creating modern and smart housing projects.
