Shafaq News / Today, Tuesday, the city of Erbil witnessed the announcement of the electronic (digital) organization project for health services, and in what the World Health Organization described as “important” and will serve the citizens of the region, the Ministry of Health in Kurdistan confirmed that the electronic system will work to include the health aspect of citizens from day Birth to death.
The representative of the World Health Organization in Iraq, Wael Hatahet, said in his speech during the opening of the electronic (digital) organization project for health services, which was attended by Shafaq News Agency, “This project came in cooperation with the federal and regional ministries of health, health organizations in the world and UNESCO, and it is an important project to provide all services to citizens.” In the health field.”
He added, "This project will serve the citizens of the Kurdistan Region and create a state of health cooperation between citizens and health institutions in Kurdistan."
For his part, the Minister of Health in the Kurdistan Region, Saman Barzanji, said in his speech, “The announcement of the opening of this project comes in light of the Ministry’s endeavor to provide health services faster and better,” noting that “the Ministry’s role revolves around electronic regulation of medicines and routine transactions in health institutions.”
Regarding the division of the project’s work, Barzanji explained, “This project consists of several sections, including health services, electronic registration, health support for citizens, and the inclusion of health reports within an electronic system specific to this project from the day of a person’s birth until his death.”
