    The Nahrawan Municipality confirmed, on Saturday, that it had received 3,000 applications from citizens included in the allocation of plots of land, noting that the municipality department has a group of plots of land that are being worked on to be allocated.
    Municipality Director Muhannad Al-Bahadli said in a statement, seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “the Nahrawan Municipality Department was directed by the Prime Minister, the Governor of Baghdad, and the Baghdad Municipalities Department to receive transactions from citizens, stressing that the categories included are divorcees, widows, families of martyrs, employees, and military personnel.” .
    He added, "The municipality department receives approximately 120 transactions daily from citizens, with the number of completed transactions reaching 3,000. These transactions are audited with the established controls so that they are included in the land allocation."
    He pointed out, “Nahrawan Municipality has a group of plots of land whose areas are being allocated to provide them to the included groups,” explaining about future projects in the Nahrawan area.
    He explained, "Al-Nahrawan has future projects, as it includes the industrial city, which has an area of ​​two thousand acres and has reached advanced stages as it is the unique and first type in the Middle East. If it is completed, attention will turn the industrial street to Al-Nahrawan."
    He pointed out, "The other project is the city of Ali al-Wardi, with an area of ​​228,000 dunams and includes 100,000 modern and new housing units. There is coordination with the Council of Ministers to complete the work to make the city of Bismayah comparable to the new cities."
