    The electronic government communication team, in coordination with a number of local banks, has identified 12 primary schools in Baghdad, so that payments will be made to those requested by them via electronic payment cards.
    The team's deputy head, Adnan Al-Arabi, said in an interview with Al-Sabah, followed by Al-Iqtisad News, that the committee for electronic payment for school students, which the team formed pursuant to a court order in coordination with the Ministry of Education, local banks, and private companies, is responsible for setting the mechanisms for implementing the payment campaign. Electronic services for students in schools, indicating that the student segment is very large, as it represents about a quarter of the population.
    He pointed out that the campaign will start with primary school students, followed by the rest of the stages, reaching universities and institutes, pointing to the agreement with a number of banks for the purpose of starting to issue electronic payment cards, especially after identifying 12 primary schools in the capital.
