On Thursday, the government service effort team announced the completion of 123 projects during the year 2023, while indicating that June of this year will witness the completion of 85 additional projects.
The Director of the Service Effort in the Popular Mobilization Authority, Ahmed Al-Maliki, said in a statement reported by the official news agency, and seen by Al-Iqtisad News, that “the 2023 projects included the areas of Al-Amin and Al-Bustan, or what is called Locality 731, in which the Hammurabi General Company operates, which is present in 14 areas.” As well as the agricultural camp, which includes stores 746, 738, and 769, in addition to the areas of Al-Baqir neighborhood and the Shahid Naeem complex, and these are located within the Al-Ghadir municipality sector and the New Baghdad municipality.
Regarding the Bob al-Sham area, Al-Maliki explained, “The work is continuing in cooperation with the service effort of the Popular Mobilization Authority, and the percentage in this area is close to 70%,” stressing, “The completion of sewer work, levels, and designs, by the Baghdad Sewerage Department, in addition to that the work “The projects in Al-Thalaba and Al-Saridat are well underway to complete.”
Al-Maliki continued, “We have work on a street that will serve the traffic flow at the entrance to Al-Saridat, and approximately 900 meters of it have been completed, which represents 50% of it,” explaining, “According to the Prime Minister’s directives, more than 85 projects will be completed by next June.” ".
