The government engineering effort team has set early next July, a deadline for the completion of ongoing projects that have not been completed, revealing that the completion date of the Tarmiya sewage project will be early next June.
The head of the government engineering effort team, Engineer Jaber Al-Hassani, said in a statement to "Al-Sabah": The team held a specialized meeting to set time ceilings for the completion of projects that were initiated last year or early this year and have not been completed yet, adding that the team has set the beginning of next July as a deadline. To complete it, while a special ceiling will be determined for each region according to the projects implemented in it, the completion rates that have been achieved, and the periods that you need, provided that they do not exceed the date set by the team.
He noted that the team is in the process of preparing final lists of projects to determine their financial costs, whether in Baghdad or the provinces, in order to submit a report to the Council of Ministers to obtain the necessary approvals in this regard.
In the same context, Al-Hassani explained that the team, based on the instructions of the Prime Ministry to find solutions to the service problems that the Tarmiya district suffers from, especially sewage, has held a meeting with the company executing the project to set the general lines for completing the work, which it pledged to complete in early June, revealing that the team is obligating the company to choose Another company enters with it as a consortium to complete the treatment plant for the project because it is not able to complete it alone. An agreement has also been reached with the security authorities to provide protection for the staff working in the project.
