[size=45]Baghdad Governorate confirmed that most of the private generators were equipped with meters, while indicating that the ampere pricing depends on the operating hours.[/size]
[size=45]Assistant Governor of Baghdad for Energy Affairs, Qais Al-Kalabi, said, “The calculation of the ampere price depends on the operating hours according to the reading of the meters installed in most of the capital’s generators.”[/size]
[size=45]Al-Kalabi added, “The pricing will be based on that reading and the actual processing hours prepared for citizens.”[/size]
[size=45]He pointed out, “All generators will be monitored by the governorate’s administrative units, and memos will be submitted to the police station and the judiciary against violators and prosecuted in accordance with Article 240 of the Penal Code.”[/size]
[size=45]He continued, “With regard to the technical procedures, a letter will be sent to the oil producers for the purpose of paying the relevant fine, whether it is for operating hours or non-compliance with the official pricing.[/size]
