[ltr]Archbishop of New York moved to reassure Iraqi Christians, stressing that the world has not forgotten them.[/ltr]
[ltr]After years of horrific persecution by Daash terrorist, it has been the displacement of the ancient Christian community, which was flourishing in Iraq and his personal leadership.[/ltr]

[ltr]The agency said in a press release that "this visit is intended to" show solidarity with the families - many of whom are Christians - displaced when swept Daash northern Iraq in the summer of 2014. "It also aims to show solidarity with the displaced people, nuns and secular priests who provide aid, although of their own difficulties.[/ltr]
