[ltr]US government expected decline in US production of shale oil for the eighth consecutive month in June, with the worsening of the pressures caused by the collapse of crude prices for two years.[/ltr]
[ltr]The Energy Information Administration said in a report that the expected decline in total production of about 113 thousand barrels per day to 4.85 million barrels a day.[/ltr]
[ltr]The low oil prices of about 60 percent from the peak of mid-2014, forcing producers to reduce capital spending and lay off thousands of workers.[/ltr]
