The Iraqi-Kuwaiti relations, said Friday that the security staff who attended with Prime Minister during his visit to Iraq, the periodic changes in the security of the Kuwaiti Embassy staff in Baghdad, and stressed that this was not caused by a "lack of confidence" in Iraq, despite the tense security situation in the Iraqi capital.

The Kuwaiti Prime Minister, Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, visited Wednesday, (12 June 2013), the capital city of Baghdad on a one-day official visit, and met him at the airport, Prime Minister Nouri al-Maliki, was broadcast on Iraqi and Kuwaiti media Protocol, submitted Kuwaiti security agents during the scene when the delegation from flying, "not uncommon" during previous visits.
The visit resulted in the signing of six agreements with Kuwait, Iraq said it has fulfilled all its obligations in Chapter VII with Kuwait, will move to chapter VI, the Kuwaiti Foreign Minister said his country would inform the United Nations of the need for "exit Iraq from Chapter VII", which has already been through a mshshtrkh with representatives of Iraq and Kuwait on Thursday for United Nations Secretary-General Ban Ki-moon at UN headquarters in New York.

The two countries have been able to overcome many of their differences in the past months, within the framework of Iraq's persistent attempts to get out of Chapter VII of the UN Charter which allows for economic sanctions.
Since the two countries signed in (28 may 2013), memoranda of understanding concerning arrangements for maintenance of the physical border recruitment and financing the construction of a residential compound in Umm Qasr, indicating that the Kuwaiti side expressed readiness to help Iraq out of Chapter VII.
The Foreign Ministry announced in (26 May 2013), Foreign Minister Hoshyar Zebari signed with Martin Kobler, special representative of the Secretary-General of the United Nations and head of UNAMI in Iraq (time), the agreement on handing over the amount of compensation established by the Security Council in its resolution No. 904 of 1994 to compensate farmers whose farms as a result of the demarcation of the boundary between Iraq and Kuwait during the period between 1991-1994, set out to follow soon another step to build a modern residential city in Umm Qasr for housing Iraqi families affected for the same reason.
And Iraq since 1990 is subject to section VII of the UN Charter imposed after the invasion of Saddam Hussein's regime, the State of Kuwait in August of the same year, this item allows the use of force against Iraq as a threat to international security, as well as to freeze large amounts of stock in international banks to pay compensation to those affected by the invasion.
